Role of the Team

The Team's main roles are to:

  • act as a communications vehicle between the library and the Institute. Individual team members are assigned as primary contacts to individual departments. Use us as a starting point for assistance or advice regarding any library issues
  • advertise new developments in the library service to academic staff and to gather their formal and informal feedback on them
  • cater for specific groups within individual departments who may require specialised attention within any one term/academic year. Examples include new staff and/or postgraduates, or students on new or part-time courses
