Library Resources for Theses
There are a number of resources available in the library to help you with your thesis research.
Books
WIT libraries have a collection of books on the art of writing theses, research papers and dissertations. Search the library catalogue, OPAC for a complete listing.
Index to Theses (On-campus access only)
The library also subscribes to an electronic database, Index to Theses, which provides an index of theses from Irish and British universities.
EThOS
EThOS - Electronic Theses Online Service. A catalogue of UK Research Theses provided by the British Library. Many UK institutions support Open Access to their theses, so download of their digital and digitised theses is free to the researcher. A small number of participating institutions may not be able to offer Open Access and in this case the researcher may have to pay for the digitisation.
Information Desk / Learning Support
Call to the Information Desk in the library for further assistance and advice. You may also wish to book an individual or group Research Skills tutorial to help you with your research.
