SETU Waterford Libraries offers a comprehensive support framework for postgraduate students at all levels, operating not only as a source of information in all the traditional and newer forms, but also as a support centre for education and lifelong learning.

Visiting Other Libraries

SETU Waterford Libraries can provide students and staff with a Letter of Introduction, which will enable you to visit another library for one day. You are advised to contact the other libraries before visiting or check their website for visiting information.

Interlibrary Loans

Research Postgraduate students are entitled to an allowance of interlibrary loan items per academic year. Contact the Interlibrary Loans office for more information – [email protected] / 051 302826.

 

EndNote 20 - Reference Management Software

EndNote is a bibliographic software tool for managing references and creating bibliographies. SETU Waterford currently holds a site license for EndNote 20 and software is available to all staff and students. 

 

If you have a SETU Waterford PC/laptop EndNote should already be installed on it. If not please contact Computer Services ([email protected]). If you wish to have EndNote software installed on a personal PC/laptop please contact Geraldine Molloy ([email protected]).

Scopus

A multidisciplinary citation and abstract database, Scopus indexes 23,000 journals from over 5,000 publishers, and approx. 150,000 books, selected book series and conference proceedings.  In addition, SCOPUS provides smart tools and metrics which enable a user to track, analyse and visualise research.  Created with researchers in mind, Scopus can tell you who is researching what in global literature and where they are doing it.
