Studying at SETU Waterford Libraries

SETU Waterford Libraries is open to registered students, staff and affiliates.  Occasionally you may be asked to validate your identity via your student identification. You may be asked to leave if you do not produce your student identification on request.

Public health guidance has changed from Monday 28th February with respect to mandatory compliance with certain Covid measures. However Covid is still present in society and the responsibility to safeguard yourself and others is now a personal responsibility and a matter for individuals and their own circumstances. In that regard SETU would emphasise to all students that:

  • If you feel unwell you should stay away from campus and follow the prevailing HSE advice
  • Mask wearing is a personal choice for each individual and the context and views of each person should be respected. Supplies of masks will continue to be available on campus.
  • Following hand and respiratory hygiene is important in prevent the spread of infection and should continue.
